The rectangular case alternatingly striped with bright blue enamel and silver-gilt, edged by slender white gold bands, centering a circular white porcelain dial with blak Arabic numerals, with outer circle of gold-tone dots, with ornate silver and rose-cut diamond hands, encircled by white enamel dots, the base outlined by gild beading, atop a rectangular agate platform, dial signed Cartier France, movement and plaque under base signed E.W. and C. Co. Inc., France, no. 120-G, retailed by J. Wiss, movement no. 99456. Case 1 1/8 x 1/4 x 7/8 inches. Height with base 2 inches.

Several small chips to enamel dots around dial.
Minor enamel loss on reverse. Some tarnish on gold frame and gold stripes on reverse.
Some spotting and pitting on crystal.
Agate: translucent, good luster.
