Etruscan Revival Gold and Micromosaic Bangle Bracelet
The center panel of multicolored tesserae depicting the scene of Apollo in his Chariot preceded by Aurora, shouldered by black tesserae with pink and green florals, the reverse of concave granulated floral geometric design, with stylized scrolled hinges and clasp, circa 1870, several tesserae missing, ap. 22.6 dwts. Inner circle 6 1/2 inches.

Based on the 17th century painting by Guido Reni, "Apollo in his Chariot preceeded by Aurora".
