The Prince and the Pauper, 1882, first American edition, in a folding case, spine tips repaired and other wear; TWAIN, MARK. The £1,000,000 Bank-Note and Other Stories, 1893, slipcase. spine tip darkened; HAY, JOHN. Jim Bludso on the Prairie Bell, and Little Breeches, 1871, original wrappers, slipcase, fine, with the bookplate of Jean Hersholt; ALCOTT, LOUISA MAY. Little Women, 1868-69, two volumes, faded and worn copies; CARMAN, BLISS. Low Tide,1893, spine faded otherwise fine; HOLMES, OLIVER WENDELL. The Autocrat of the Breakfast Table, 1858, first issue, slipcase, loss at headcap; HOLMES, OLIVER WENDELL. The Professor at the Breakfast Table, 1860, slipcase, ink inscription, light wear; TARKINGTON, BOOTH. Monsieur Beaucaire, 1900, a fine copy in a morocco backed slipcase, with the bookplate of Mabel Drury; ANDERSON, SHERWOOD. A New Testament,1927, the signed limited edition further inscribed, an unopened copy, with slipcase, the binding foxed, the slipcase worn; JAMES, WILL. Smoky the Cow Horse, 1926, first printing with the title page dated and only have three lines of text on copyright with seal, spine darkened and frayed; DOS PASSOS, JOHN. Three Soldiers, 1921, slipcase, hinge cracked. Not fully checked for issue points, no dust jackets present, the lot sold as is. The lot 13 titles in 15 volumes.
