Contemporary calf boards, rebacked to style in modern leather with raised bands preserving an old morocco lettering label. 8 1/4 x 5 inches (21 x 13 cm); vii, 275 pp., with half-title, folding map, 2 folding engraved plates, 11 folding charts included in the pagination, retains original blanks. The title mounted along gutter and toned (no loss of text), the blanks foxed, light crease to half-title, repaired short tear into map, bookplate of Robt. Bateson.
