A miscellany of nicely bound works, 17 titles in 22 volumes, each in a modern full or three-quarters morocco binding, largest 10 x 7 inches (26 x 18). Some wear and markings within, see notes below, no volume fully collated, the bindings fine, sold as a collection and not subject to return.

The lot comprising, in date order: Macy's The History of Nantucket, 1835, map and plate, foxed; The History of New Bedford, 1857; Elliott's New England History, 1857, 2 volumes, full red morocco by the Monastery Hill Bindery; Freeman's The History of Cape Cod, 1858-62, 2 volumes in 4, bound from parts with wrappers, plates; John Dunton's Letters from New England, 1867, from the limited edition, three-quarters red morocco gilt; Sir Humfrey Gilbert and his Enterprise of Colonization in America, 1903, from the limited edition, three-quarters red morocco gilt; Ellis' History of New Bedford, 1892, 2 volumes, blue morocco by the Monastery Hill Bindery; The Pirates of the New England Coast, 1923; and eight others, all mid-20th century. The lot 22 volumes.
