[FRANCE] Fifteen volumes on the French countryside, nine with folding maps.
Paris: circa 1840s. 15 volumes in contemporary tan morocco backed marbled boards, the volumes 8 1/4 x 5 inches (20.5 x 13 cm); the maps opened to about 19 x 22 inches (48 x 55 cm). Some foxing, a few short tears or repairs, not collated beyond the maps and sold as is, bookplates of Edgard Stern.

The nine volumes with maps comprise: Precis Statistique sur le canton de ... Granvilliers, 1840, also with the folding arms of the town inserted; Breteuil; Crevecoeur; Nivillers; Clermont; Formerie; Songeons; Meru; and Noailles.
