TAVERNER, ERIC [and others] Trout fishing from all angles, a complete guide to modern methods...
London: Seeley, Service & Co., 1929. Copy 270 from the edition of 375, signed on the colophon by Taverner. Full publisher's turquoise morocco, with the Lonsdale Library crest in gilt. 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches (25 x 17 cm); 448 pp., mounted plates after photographs, with the collection of thirty flies in a tray at the rear with a printed tissue overlay. Very minor rubbing, but a very pretty copy indeed.
Included are a chapter on trout scales by G. Herbert Nall and on the legal aspect of fishing by Alban Bacon. This was the second work published in the Lonsdale Library series, and is one of the most desirable, because of the fine specimens of tied flies that are included. Bruns T10.
