Pair of French Gilt-Bronze-Mounted Kingwood Marquetry Commodes
In the style of J-B Hédouin
Each marble serpentine top above a conforming bombé case inlaid with floral sprays within pierced borders and fitted with two drawers sans traverse and scrolling dragon-headed handles, the rocaille-cast mounts continuing to chutes and ending in sabots; one commode with mount engraved F. Linke. Height 35 1/4 inches (84.4 cm), width 56 inches (1.67 m), depth inches 25 inches (63.5 cm).
