Soviet Porcelain Georgian Girl

After a design by Natalia Dan'ko, State Porcelain Manufactory, Leningrad, 1937
The circular dial with Arabic numerals, set on a rockwork base and surrounded by grape vines and bunches, the girl in traditional dress standing to one side and supporting a basket of grapes on one shoulder, on an oval base, red jubilee mark for the twentieth anniversary of the October Revolution under base. Height 10 1/4 inches (26 cm.), width 8 inches (20.3 cm.).
