George I Irish Sterling Silver Strawberry Dish
David King, Dublin, 1719
Altered from a tazza, the circular fluted body with notched rim, with engraved heraldic crest to the center. Diameter 12 1/2 inches (31.5 cm), approximately 38 ounces.
The Arms are those of Temple of Waterstown, County Westmeath impaling those of Jephson of Mallow.

This bowl began life as a tazza and is now lacking the central foot and has been reshaped and reworked.
Marked to side of body; arms at centre with light wear; ever so slightly out of round; good gauge
