Vol. I, No. 1 - Vol. II, No. 24. Salem, Mass.: 1841-1842. Contemporary marbled wrappers. 15 7/8 x 10 7/8 inches; 96, 96 pp. printed in four columns. Generally a bit worn with loss to lower wrapper and an old central fold, scattered staining throughout.
The first two years of a small, semi-monthly Christian periodical published by A. G. Comings, a Campbellite preacher. After two years of publication in Salem, a new series began publication out of Lowell, MA in 1843.
