Pair of Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond Brooches
The stylized fans of folded gold with one flanked by 5 round and old European-cut diamonds approximately 1.85 cts., accented by 48 round and 25 single-cut diamonds approximately 6.60 cts., tipped by 14 round, cushion-shaped and oval sapphires approximately 8.20 cts., approximately circa 1940, approximately 27.4 dwts.
With C. Dunaigre Gemstone Report no. CDC 1805317 stating the a majority of the sapphires are Burma (Myanmar), no indications of heating. A few stones are from Sri Lanka and Cambodia.
