NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle's auction of Important Jewelry on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 10am will offer dazzling jewelry by the world’s most prestigious makers, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb and Tiffany & Co. The offerings span the Antique, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Modern eras and include high-carat-weight diamond and colored stone rings, as well as fine watches, gentlemen’s accessories and objets de vertu.

From the Estate of a Distinguished New York Lady is an elegant suite of jewelry by Cartier, France. Inspired by the colorful Mughal-style jewelry created by Cartier in the 1920s-30s, the set features a dazzling necklace (est. $50,000-70,000) and bracelet (est. $25,000-35,000) set with cabochon emeralds and rubies enhanced with sparkling diamonds. From the same estate is a chic gold and diamond necklace of foliate motif by Cartier, Paris (est. $8,000-12,000).

Bulgari’s iconic jewelry set with Greek and Roman coins attracts discerning buyers from around the world. A stylish two-tone gold necklace centering an ancient coin offers a fascinating link to a past civilization (est. $10,000-15,000).
