Additional Notes & Condition Report
a note (now torn into a few pieces because of the folds and its age) was kept inside an envelope tucked inside the vase that reads: "Dear Friends, This Minton vase was willed to the Sisters of Notre Dame. They couldn't keep it because they have a vow of poverty. The sister superior gave it to me and I want you to have it as a token of our gratitude for your many kindnesses. Much love, Lillian & Joe"
