Additional Notes & Condition Report
Appears to be in generally good, sturdy condition; there are some minor losses to the mother of pearl inlay; there is lifting to the thin wire inlay located at the upper left facing corner, otherwise, the two wire inlay bands appear to be in generally good condition; scattered oxidation spots and light scratches to the beveled mirror plats; some separation to the mitred wood join areas at the corners that surround the mirror plate; some minor cracks to the carved wood crests (top and bottom) but only visible from the rear side; the wood back panel appears to have shrunk (there is a gap - exposed area) to the right side of this panel; there is some separation to the mitre join areas of the wood band that surrounds the rear back panel, consistent with age. Age: probably late 19th/early 20th century.
