The work is in overall good condition. There is a 1 inch area of inpainting in the sky near the boats to the left and another area at the right edge of the painting near the mast of the boat. At the lower left there is a 3 inch abrasion. There is a stretcher bar mark along each side and the canvas is a bit loose on the stretcher. The piece has not been relined and there are no patches present on the reverse.
