March 4, 1909 Beth Dearing Cambell married Irving Tritch Snyder in Denver, Colorado with this special Cartier antique colored diamond ring. It was purchased from the Cartier store on a trip to New York. Beth's father was Frank James Cambell, the general manager of the Vindicator Consolidated Gold mining company in Teller, Colorado. The company was one of the largest gold mining companies in the early days of Colorado gold mining and eventually Irving would become vice president of the company until he reliquished his responsibilites to move to Santa Barbara, California with his wife and two children. This ring has passed through three generations until now when it has been brought to auction.
