A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, 1889, later state without "S" ornament to p. 59, a bright copy; The Tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson, Hartford, 1894. First American edition, fine copy; KIPLING, RUDYARD. Just So Stories, 1902, illustrated, a fine copy; The Light that Failed, 1891, first book edition, fine copy; CATHER, WILLA. Sapphira and the Slave Girl, 1940, one of 520 signed copies, dust jacket, slipcase, fine copy; BURNETT, FRANCES HODGSON. Little Lord Fauntleroy, 1886, first issue with De Vinne device and signature marks, shaken, inscription; and others including the first trade editions in jackets of O'Neill's Mourning Becomes Electra and Strange Interlude. The lot 10 volumes.
