Both Augsburg: circa 1776. Hand-colored engravings. 11 1/2 x 16 inches (30 x 41.5 cm); framed separately. The first affixed on four sides on the verso with old masking tape to matting, the second across the top edge only, some spotting, toning, etc.
A pair of Revolutionary era vue d'optique prints, the first depicting the destruction of the statue of George III in Bowling Green following a reading of the Declaration of Independence, the second the landing of English troops in New York.
