Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Chakrasamvara
Cast striding in alidhasana on prostrate figures over a lotus base, holding a vajra and ghanta in the primary hands and various implements in the outstretched others, the four faces each with fierce expressions and furrowed brows, below a crown of skulls surmounted by a tall chignon supporting crossed vajras and a crescent moon, the consort with her legs wrapped around him holding a skull cap and curved knife and adorned with beaded festoons. Height 6 1/4 inches.
