Antique Gold, Silver-Gilt, Enamel and Shakudo Chatelaine Belt Clip-Watch
Mechanical, pin-set, the silver gilt belt clip designed as three tapered modified rectangular panels applied with reddish-brown enamel and Shakudo decoration depicting birds and flowers, joined by a stylized geometric link, suspending an oval watch case applied with reddish-brown enamel, with Shakudo decoration of birds atop branches and leaves, edged by rope-twist gold, centering a circular black dial with gold-tone Roman numerals and railroad track indicator, the bezel of detailed rose gold, the reverse with a Shakudo panel of flowers and a bird, circa 1890. With original fitted box.
