Antique Gold, Hardstone Cameo and Micromosaic Brooch
Centering one round black and white hardstone cameo depicting a kneeling warrior, approximately 16.6 mm., encircled by twisted gold, within a recessed frame decorated with a green and white micromosaic pattern edged in twisted gold, spaced small by gold balls, flanked by scrolled panels of black tesserae with a white and green micromosaic floral and leaf pattern, tipped by gold discs centering small polished gold balls, the reverse with glazed compartment, circa 1870, approximately 14.4 dwts. With fitted box.

Minor tarnish around bezel of glazed compartment and by both ends of pin fitting. Minor tarnish spot at edge on reverse, minor scratches.
Good condition. Well-made. Diameter of disc 1 1/4". 1 9/16 x 2 3/8".
