Centering one oval cameo depicting a female figure with detailed headdress and bodice, approximately 30.0 x 26.0 mm., within a concave frame of finely detailed gold leaves flanked by twisted gold, quartered by polished gold balls and detailed gold discs tipped by small gold balls, the sides surmounted by a diamond-shaped gold pattern tipped by gold balls, completed by a tapered pendant loop decorated with a delicate twisted gold wire bow accented by granulation, reverse with glazed compartment, pendant loop detachable, circa 1880, approximately 22.2 dwts. gross.

Gold: rich yellow gold hue, very nice gold work. Minor scratches, normal wear on reverse.
