Antique Gold, Silver, Cabochon Garnet, Diamond, Gem-Set and Baroque Freshwater Pearl Beetle Brooch
Its silver head accented by a diamond-set flower, round cabochon ruby eyes and one cushion-shaped emerald, with extended rose-cut diamond horns grasping a pearl, its navette-shaped cabochon garnet torso joined to its head by a silver band accented by 2 oval cabochon moonstones, tipped by a fancy-shaped diamond-set silver plaque, further extending gold legs, circa 1875, one rose-cut diamond missing.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BROOCH IS SET WITH 2 MOONSTONES, NOT 3 AS STATED IN THE CATALOGUE.
