Pair of Massive Chinese Cloisonne Elephants
Early 20th century
Each standing four-square on a rectangular base, the head held low with the trunk curled under between long gently curved tusks, each set with a saddle and elaborate trappings supporting a vase with a pearl and flame finial. Height 72 inches, width 47 1/2 inches, depth 24 inches.

The other elephant: has a small break to one inlaid wire on the back of the tail, the finial on the back of the neck is bent and could possibly be repaired.
Some apparent white overpaint/infilling to each of the tail area; dulling and tarnishing gilt metal finish; not blacklighted
