. John Perona's copy extensively signed by the famous patrons of the club over their images, signed by Perona on the front blank. Original blue boards stamped in white. Photographs by Jerome Zerbe. 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. Some thumbsoiling, a few signatures smudged, light shelfwear.
This remarkable album contains the signatures of Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich, William K. Vanderbilt, Raymond R. Guest, Robert Benchley, George Rand, Kittly Carlisle, David Niven, Conde Nast, Cecil Beaton, Jack Dempsey, Valentina, Gloria Swanson, Elsa Maxwell and many others of note. A fine collection of autographs from the heyday of the famous club illustrated with Zerbe photographs of many of the socialites, athletes, actors and royalty that flocked to Perona's El Morocco.
