Full 19th century brown morocco, covers with rules in blind, flat spine lettered in gilt. 9 1/2 x 6 3/8 inches (24 x 16.5 cm); , xxvii, 68 pp., with five full-page plates, and head- and tail-pieces all wood-engraved by Thomas and John Bewick. Light rubbing to spine, unobtrusive gouge to the front cover, internally a very fresh copy.
Sold with a large-paper copy of Samuel Butler Hudibras, 1800, with the Bewick cuts; also a handsomely bound copy of Howett's Rural Life in England, also illustrated by Bewick, i.e. three volumes in all.
