18 kt., the oval gold box applied with blue guilloche enamel, centering an oval panel depicting a portrait miniature of village townspeople listening to a man reading, outlined and edged throughout with chased gold, green enamel leaves and opalescent enamel dots, with maker's mark and French assay mark, circa 1830, approximately 165 dwts. 2 1/2 x 3 3/8 x 1 9/16 inches. With fitted box signed Wartski.
