1864 10c. Blue, Scott WV 11, tied by faint "Great Central Fair, June 17, 1864" circular date stamp, in addition there are two 2c. Black Jacks tied by "Phila Pa. June 24, 1864" and target cancels paying carrier rate needed to forward cover to Master Reginald Gray in Boston, Mass. Additional Fair circular date stamps below # 73s and transit and arrival markings on the reverse.
An exceptional and rare Philatelic cover with U.S. stamps and Sanitary Fair issue on a single cover of which only two were previously known. Believed to be an unrecorded cover from this Fair.

Accompanying is a two page poem and letter to Sir Reginald Gray in manuscript with final notation "Phila. June 1864 Great Central Fair Post Office". in the same hand, probably Mary C. Gray.
