On April 20, 2010, Doyle New York hosted the semiannual Doyle+Design auction. This popular sale showcased an array of Modern and Contemporary furniture, decorations and fine art by some of the most prominent designers, makers and artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. With competitive bidding from buyers in the salesroom, on the telephones and via the Internet, the sale totaled a strong $468,500, within the pre-sale estimate of $361,750-539,150 with 87% sold by lot and 91% sold by value.
