French Ivory Tray
Dieppe, 19th century
Incorporated into a low table, of oval form, with a lobed border carved in relief with classical and mythical scenes centering a reserve depicting a bacchic feast, set in a Neoclassical style painted and parcel gilt low table. Height 20 inches (50.8 cm), width 34 1/2 inches (87.6 cm), length of tray 27 inches (68.6 cm).

A low table with chips and minor losses to the surface. Some panels with age cracks. Small area of brown to the border, which could possibly be glue. Minor discoloration.
