AESCHYLUS [Title and author in Greek]. [Plays].

The transliterated title page reads Aischylou Prometheus desmotes, Hepta epi Thebais, Persai, Agamemnon, Eumenides, Hiketides. This is a charming little Greek imprint by Adrien Turnebe, the Royal Printer for Greek.
Provenance: the title page bears the contemporary ownership inscription of Raimundi Pi[us] Fichardi [Fichard], of Frankfurt (purchased perhaps at the Francofordiense Emporium); 1848 ownership inscription of Henry Munster; bookplate of Percy Babington.
