Lot Details

Lot 1010
19th Century Foreign Stamp Collection
Fascinating Old-Time offering in a deluxe gilt-edged Imperial album. Strong offering of the classic period with most items identified by the owner, however not always correctly, but still many are useful reference copies and an examination is highly suggested to make ones own determination.
There are many first-issues present and with generous groupings of European Colonies, Scandanavian and other Americas including a strong United States section beginning with an 1847 10c, useful Bank Notes, Bureau and early Commemoratives.
Condition varies considerably from space filler to Very Fine. Predominately used.
The collection offers a grand opportunity for the advanced general collector or a newcomer wishing to build a nice all around collection.

Estate of Dr. Edward Scollin
