George III Satinwood and Marquetry Games Table
The hinged rectangular kingwood-crossbanded top with central patera within husk garlands, the corners with pearled spandrels and opening to a baize-lined surface over a frieze with Vitruvian scroll inlay, the tapering square legs inlaid with husks on brass box casters.
Height 29 inches, width 36 inches, depth 18 inches.

Previous restorations, slight bowing to top, later marquetry to frieze and legs, losses and restorations to crossbanding, age cracks to tops of legs, repaired break to top of back right leg and now with later veneer, losses and restorations to veneers, old marks and scratches, scuffs to legs and feet.
