Unframed. Relined, old and new restoration throughout (several periods). Scattered cracquelure, most pronounced at right center and upper left edge. Substantial reworking throughout, particularly in the face and dress of the figure. Canvas appears to be a Neapolitan 17th century, a very loose weave with terracotta priming. Figure was appears to have been made to look more English at some point.
