The brass areas are tarnished to a deep brown. The painted white areas show minor surface dirt. The orange pigment on the lower section has two areas of loss along the top edges, 1/32" long, and 1/16" long. Also losses at bottom edge 1/8" long and at the top point. dark soiling along the tip of the tail and along top edge of the tail. This seems to be the original paint with no signs of in-painting.
