Original cloth backed boards with paper label, housed in a morocco case. 9 x 5 1/2 inches (23 x 14 cm); the original parts wrapper laid-in, frontispiece, engraved title, hand-colored plates. Joint split, gouge to one text leaf, toned but the plates generally fine; Life in London; or, the Day and Night Scenes of Jerry Hawthorn, Esq. and his Elegant Friend, Corinthian Tom. London: Sherwood, Neeley, and Jones, 1821. Full red morocco gilt by Riviere. 9 1/4 x 6 inches (24 x 15 cm); half-title, frontispiece, hand-colored plates, folding engraved music. Spine and binding extremities darkened, wear to joint, some toning and offsetting, neither fully collated and sold as is.
