Four boar hunting prints from Ackermann's Indian Sporting Scraps. [London: circa 1850]. Four hand-colored aquatint plates from Ackermann's Indian Sporting Scraps, comprising: Beating for a Boar; Raising the Boar from his lair; Charging the Boar; and The Wounded Boar Charging. Each trimmed to the image and 4 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches (12 x 19 cm); each with hand-lettering to the mats, nicely matted and separately framed. each trimmed to the image and without text, one with a small puncture, sold as is; Offered with Preparing to Ride, reproduced after a painting, dated 1892.
