Surface grime. The bottom 5 vertical inches of the verso shows staining and mold, possibly from water damage, but is not apparent on recto surface. A scratch approximately 5 inches running from lower right edge to lower right center. Lower left corner has an area of loss to canvas at overlap, with an associated tear, exposing stretcher.
