Publisher's dark red cloth stamped in gilt, housed in a morocco backed clamshell case. 7 1/2 x 5 inches (19.5 x 13 cm); 278 pp. A very presentable unrestored copy with some slight darkening to the spine, minor rubbing to two letters of the gilt titling on the upper cover, a couple of small spots to the lower edge of the rear cover, scattered foxing to the edge of the text block barely penetrating the margin.
A sound copy of Joyce's scarce first major book, one of only 1250 copies printed, of which just 746 were bound by Grant Richards for this edition. Slocum & Cahoon A8.
