NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle will hold an auction of Coins, Medals & Sports Memorabilia on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 10am. Collectors and enthusiasts will find a wide range of United States and World numismatic rarities from collections in the New York area and other regions of the country.

Certain to attract attention are fascinating examples of early numismatic Washingtonia, including a circa 1789 "Washington Before Boston" medal commemorating the British evacuation of Boston in 1776 -- the first and among the most famous of the Comitia Americana medals, commissioned by the Continental Congress to commemorate notable military achievements in the Revolution.
