Kornilov Manufactory, St. Petersburg, 1884-1917

Each circular, decorated with varicolored stylized foliage and geometric motifs simulating enamel work, the border centering a roundel enclosing a Russian Imperial double-headed eagle, the underside with printed manufactory mark and inscription Made in Russian by Kornilow Bros. for Tiffany & Co. New York. Diameter 8 1/8 inches (20.6 cm).

New York. Diameter 8 1/8 inches (20.6 cm).

Most plates in excellent condition, with minimal wear. One plate with a hairline crack extending from the center to the rim.

This exciting sale promises to attract the attention of collectors worldwide with such treasures as a silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel three-handled cup by Feodor Rückert, a rare 1922 Soviet porcelain plate by Varvara Rukavishnikova, and an important circa 1775 jeweled and enameled gold snuff box with a portrait of Empress Catherine II.
