Signed on the title page by the author, this possibly a remainder from the first American edition or a book club edition as there is no number line to copyright and a small square indentation to the rear cloth board at foot. Publisher's cloth backed boards, in original dust jacket. A small price sticker on the front jacket flap has offset to the front blank, very minor crease to jacket head and a small snag to one corner, fine overall.
