Blue and White Porcelain Bowl
Double-Encircled Six-Character Mark of Xuande (1426-1435) and of the Period
Painted on the exterior with bands of waves, lotus scrolls and running foliage. The interior is decorated about the rim with a band of lotus scrolls and the cavetto is painted with the unusual design of surging waves. Diameter 6 inches (15.3 cm).

very faint interior / exterior hairline crack extending downward 1 1/2 inches on interior and 2 inches on exterior
