The cavetto is painted within a shaped, double-line border with a grapevine with tendrils supporting three clusters of grapes. Along the surrounding wall are twelve stylized sprays of alternating peonies and lingzhi and the flat rim is painted with a band of simplified flowerheads and foliage. The exterior is also painted with stylized flowerheads.
