BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DOUBLE-PEONY DEEP DISH

Diameter 15 7/8 inches (40.3 cm)
The body is potted from a finely grained paste, carefully finished underneath and with a sandy-gray color. The cavetto is painted within a double-line border with two peony sprays on rose like stems. The wall is painted with eight stylized floral sprays on running foliage and the flat rim is painted with eight small sprays of various flowers. The exterior is decorated with a band of ten stylized lotuses.
