Moscow, before 1899
The hexagonal cut glass body fitted with a hinged domed silver cover inset with a silver ruble coin depicting Empress Elizabeth I on the obverse and a double-headed eagle and dated 1755 on the reverse, raised on a hexagonal base, with berried laurel border and brackets in the form of flaming urns. Height 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm), width of base 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).

In generally good condition. Chips to edges of two corners of glass bottle at lower edge (obscured by silver mount). Minor chip to one upper corner of glass bottle. Light surface wear. Silver cover loose and not fixed in place. Small dent to collar of silver collar below hinge.
