First edition in monthly parts, 20 numbers in 19 parts, original wrappers, housed in a cloth case. 8 3/4 x 5 5/8 inches (23 x 14.5 cm); 40 plates, generally complete as per Hatton & Cleaver except part 1 without Norton's ad and one slip ad, part 15 with "Rigaud" for "Blandois" but without errata slip in part 16, part 16 also without De Jongh's ad, part 19/20 without "193 Picadilly" ad. Some discreet rebacking and repairs, a few stains to wrappers, light edgewear, some light foxing to plates, neat ownership signatures.
