After Orazio MochiDepicting two blindfolded youths, one crouching low behind the other figure who raises a sling, on a marble plinth. Height 13 1/4 inches (34.9 cm), width of plinth 19 inches (48.3 cm), depth 8 inches (20.3 cm).
Marble base broken; patina rubbed at high points, pitting in areas, numerous notable flaws to casting, including to left knee of crouching figure with fissure from side of knee around back, areas of pitting to back of left leg above knee, pitting to ends of both slings, etc.
