The rectangular mirror plate within a fluted frame surmounted by a cresting carved with gardening implements, including a pitchfork, spades, a rake, a scythe, a bucket, a beribboned hat, etc., all above laurel leaves and swags. Height 44 inches (111.8 cm), width 28 inches (71.2 cm).

Later gilding with rubbing to sides and bottom of frame, craquelure to gilding of crest, minor wood worm, chips and losses to gilding at right bottom corner
